Dear Patients,

After nearly 40 years of practice, I am writing with a full heart to share that I am retiring. It is difficult to put into words what a joy, privilege, and passion it has been to care for each of you over the years. From those of you who have been with me since my dental school days in 1982, and to all who have joined me since founding Summercrest Dental in 1987 – thank you!

My mission from the beginning has been rooted in compassion, integrity, and excellence. These have been the guiding principles of our practice, and everything we do has centered on your health, comfort and wellbeing.

Serving you has been one of the great honors of my life. I have watched many of you grow from young children into adults — and even into grandparents. What a beautiful journey it has been to walk alongside you. The bonds we’ve built go far beyond the dental chair; many of you have become some of our closest friends. I look forward to continuing those friendships in the community, in church and in social settings.

At the same time, we are pleased to welcome Dr. Alex Yanchuk to our practice! Dr. Alex brings a wealth of experience, having started his dental career as a dental assistant, then as a hygienist before becoming a dentist. After several years of experience in both private and corporate dentistry, he is honored to take over Summercrest Dental and looks forward to providing each patient with compassionate, personalized care. Dr Yanchuk is a devoted family man with a wonderful wife and two school-aged children, and we know he will be an incredible addition to our dental family.

As I step away from clinical practice, I do so with peace knowing you are in exceptional hands. Please accept my deepest love and gratitude for allowing us to be a part of your lives. It has truly been a blessing.

With heartfelt appreciation,

Alex
