Maricel joined the Summercrest Dental team in July 2025, bringing with her more than a decade of experience in patient care. She earned a degree in Applied Science in San Antonio, Texas, which launched her 13-year career in the medical field. Over the past five years, she has transitioned into dentistry, where she continues to deliver compassionate care while expanding her knowledge in oral health, treatment planning and insurance navigation. She values being part of a close-knit team that works to ease patient anxiety and build trust. Maricel finds it deeply rewarding to help patients understand their oral health, creating treatment plans that empower them to feel confident and well cared for. Her contributions to our team include fostering a welcoming, patient-focused environment, supporting operational efficiency and ensuring transparent communication. From appointment coordination to precise billing and insurance handling, Maricel plays a key role in the smooth operation and success of our office.

Originally from the hill country of Texas, Maricel moved to Oregon in 2008 with her husband, Anthony. They raised their daughter in Hillsboro and enjoy exploring the outdoors with their beloved pets.

Becky has been a valued part of our front office team since 2011. After graduating from high school, she attended Mt. Hood Community College and later became a flight attendant for United Airlines. Following several roles with both doctors and dentists, she returned to school at Concordia College to study Health Care Administration. She enjoys getting to know patients personally and values the meaningful relationships she has built. Becky often says she has at least four new best friends at any given time and treasures the connections that extend beyond the office. With a positive attitude and team-focused mindset, Becky strives to bring her best to every workday. She supports both her coworkers and patients by maintaining an upbeat and welcoming environment.

Outside of work, Becky enjoys a vibrant family life with five siblings, three grown children, two bonus sons, a bonus daughter, three grandsons and a new granddaughter. She shares life with her husband, Dusty, an intarsia artist, a love story that began through a patient at the practice.

Annie is a dedicated dental assistant who joined our team in 2024. She began her dental journey at Portland Community College, where she attended from 2006 to 2008 to complete the Dental Assisting Program. In 2009, she earned her Registered Dental Assistant Certification in Washington State. Annie enjoys making patients feel comfortable and happy during their visits. She supports the practice’s growth by fostering a positive and uplifting environment for both patients and coworkers. Her goal is to ensure that every patient leaves with confidence in their smile and oral health.

Outside of the office, Annie enjoys baking and loves discovering new and delicious dessert recipes.
